Before calling or submitting your inquiry, please first consult our Archives Reading Room and read our Frequently Asked Questions. Both provide answers to many questions about the types of govemment records held by the Archives and how to access those records, as well as information on how and where to request birth, death and marriage records. For family histories, contact the Westchester County Historical Society.

Please keep in mind that the Archives' staff cannot undertake extensive research to respond to telephone or e-mail requests. Any inquiry that would potentially involve a detailed investigation into the records themselves must be submitted as a Research by Mail request.
